FlashDevelop demo -- Slider Puzzle

I've blogged before about using FlashDevelop to make Flash games for free. Just for fun, I decided to do a very little project tonight... a simple slider puzzle game to challenge myself. I set myself a time target of 3 hours to build the whole thing (assets included) from scratch. Ultimately, I ended up with 3 and a half hours, but I got it working. You can see the result below...

Get Adobe Flash player

It's a simple game -- just click the squares to rearrange them into numerical order. The number 1 should be at the top left, running left-to-right, then row-by-row.

All the graphics (rubbish as they are!) were made using The GIMP, along with its built-in patterns. If you have any questions about implementation, then please leave a comment and I'd be happy to answer them. I might even post some of the source code at some point. :)

That was fun. Simple is most often the best.
